UTOPIA premiered as part of The Spirit of Amsterdam festival, an exceptional arts festival that opens mosques, synagogues and churches as places of artistic and spiritual encounter. Here the work was perceived not only as an art installation, but as a living, breathing space that makes silence, encounter and hope tangible. People could pause, connect, bring their thoughts and prayers into the room – and at the same time feel that they were becoming part of something bigger.
